About

I’m a writer-director based in Singapore, working in factual TV for 10 years. What I do has helped transform me into a multi-hyphenate of sorts. In the making of the World’s First Floating LNG Factory, I assumed the role of an offshore chemical engineer to describe shipbuilding and companders. To uncover World War 2 secrets in Nazi World War Weird, I became an amateur historian-detective. The challenge of learning new and very varied topics from different perspectives drives my passion as a storyteller.

To expand my horizons, I lived abroad in Taiwan for a year where I managed multiple projects and directed a series. Hakka Renaissance allowed me to uncover parts of a country that are not accessible to the regular traveler or culture vulture. It gave me a chance to understand a people with a rich history through a very different lens.

When work is not keeping me busy, I’m usually creating other things like these illustrations, or these photos. Most recently, I’ve expanded my skills to learn more about UX design.
